BlaqueAdemics / Main Page

The slogan for BlaqueAdemics is "where knowledge is applied. . . ." Such a foundational notion is both self-evident and complex. While the name of our organization is based upon its founder's last name, Blaque, as well as her life long desire to demonstrate that education (academic, social, cultural, historical) changes the learner's thought process, as a non-profit organization, BlaqueAdemics is dedicated to the value of knowledge and the progressive results revealed after one has acquired it. In other words, BlaqueAdemics is an orgranization that disseminates, organizes, and shares knowledge to affect the informing agents of those who desire to apply what they have learned, and then pay it forward.

As the clearinghouse for the activities, funding, and services provided by its two non-profit organizations, the Blaque Awareness Network, and the Blaque Awareness Center. BlaqueAdemics is a growing socio-educational organization that also houses Banned Books & Company, the latter of which accepts no donations. These three subsidiaries are under the banner of BlaqueAdemics and are being rolled out individually. In this way, full funding for the two year operating budget of each is more likely.

In an effort to be fiscally transparent from the outset, contributors who chose to target their donations to a specific branch of BlaqueAdemics are accommodated and such funds are disbursed in the manner chosen. Contributions can also be made to the general fund, which supports BlaqueAcademics' general operating budget, and are disbursed to its subsidiaries according to the approval by the BlaqueAdemics' Funding Board. Any and all funds donated to BlaqueAdemics, the Blaque Awareness Network, or the Blaque Awareness Center are tax deductible, including nominal fees received by participants for any services or events.
